To believe in the magic that we make. To be the light in someone’s life. To put a splash of color on the grey landscape. We artist, already, spend most of our time over-dramatizing. We, by nature, seek to feel more so that we can create everyday. We see, we listen, and we hear in a singular way. We push the limits. The shutdown has simply magnified our natural instincts. So, after the fear and anxiety pass, you sit, you smile and then you paint. Paint and poetry are intimately entangled for me. My work comes from my writing.
